Cultured pearls are the ideal modern gift for your spouse's twelfth or thirtieth wedding anniversary. While selection may seem simple enough there is a wide variety of pearl types, colors, and pearl necklace lengths to choose from.

There are 4 general types of strands Freshwater, Akoya, South Sea, or Tahitian's and all come in a variety of colors and overtones. Most common are white, golden, pink, and black. White and pink are primarily Akoya pearls, golden usually being South Sea pearls, Black usually Tahitian pearls, while Freshwater pearls tend to be available in near every shade imaginable.
