Holiday Gifts

I pull out the griddle and set it on the stove while Jake dumps the Campbell’s Tomato Soup into a cheapo, wedding gift sauce pan and sets it on a back burner. He twists a burner knob on high while I count out slices of bread. A moment of collective effort like this is rare for Jake and me, but I love it.
